What to check when buying

Cost moves directly with upstream PTA and MEG, so check the raw material prices before you stock up — ordering early in a rising cycle saves a lot.
Low shrinkage, crisp handle and good crease resistance make it a staple for outerwear, bags and linings; the weak point is poor moisture absorption, which feels stuffy next to the skin.
Fabrics all sold as polyester feel very different depending on whether the yarn is FDY, DTY or cationic, so confirm on a swatch before you quote.
